About Airportle

The conventional Wordle rules and the Airportle rules are pretty similar. To successfully guess a three-letter airport identification code, you get six chances. If you correctly predict a letter and it appears in the proper place in the airport code, the square will become green. If a letter is in the code but not in the right place, it will change orange; otherwise, it will remain grey.

The IATA's (International Air Transport Association) official airport list must include the airport's code. While the entire number of IATA codes is unknown, there are exactly 17,576 possible combinations. Which makes Airportle quite difficult, especially if you have no interest in airports.

How to play

By employing the International Air Transport Association's (IATA) three-letter code, Airportle allows users six chances to correctly identify an airport.

For instance, Wellington and Auckland are designated by the codes WLG and AKL, respectively. Famously, JFK stands for John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York while LHR is for London Heathrow in the UK.
