Quardle allows for participation by two players. Being the first player to use all of your letters to completely fill your opponent's word column is the object of the game. Quardle's game pieces are similar to those in Othello. You must block your opponent's move in order to stop them from completing their word or phrase and capturing their letters.
In this word game, word connections are utilized. In this game, each player will have access to four letters (A, B, C, or D). Each player takes a turn using the provided four letters to create as many different words as they can. If a player uses all four letters during their turn, the turn must be handed to the next player. During subsequent turns, a player may not utilize any words they have already created.
The player who says seven congruent terms first wins the game. If Player A used the letters A, B, and C in his/her turn and Player B used the same three letters, for example, Player B would win since Player B now has more congruent words while Player A does not.
